Peer Review Process
International Journal of Emerging Research in Arts, Science and Technology follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published manuscripts. The journal is committed to maintaining fairness, transparency, and high scholarly standards throughout the review process.
1. Initial Assessment
All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editorial member to ensure that they align with the journal’s scope, follow submission guidelines, and meet basic quality and originality standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected at this stage without external review.
2. Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two or more independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The journal follows a double-blind review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure unbiased and objective evaluation.
3. Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Relevance to the journal scope
- Clarity of objectives and research questions
- Appropriateness of methodology and analysis
- Validity and significance of results
- Logical presentation and conclusions
- Quality of writing and overall presentation
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept as submitted
- Accept with minor revisions
- Major revisions required (Revise and Resubmit)
- Reject
5. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments and submit the revised version within the specified time frame. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation before a final decision is made.
6. Final Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the editorial board, based on reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revised manuscript.
7. Ethical Standards
The journal strictly adheres to the ethical guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure fairness, transparency, and integrity throughout the peer review and publication process.
