Plagiarism and AI Content Policy

International Journal of Emerging Research in Arts, Science and Technology is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism and promotes the responsible and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in research and manuscript preparation.

1. Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism is defined as the use of another person’s work, ideas, data, or text without proper acknowledgment. International Journal of Emerging Research in Arts, Science and Technology follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy to ensure originality and authenticity in all submitted manuscripts.

  • All manuscripts are checked using reputable plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin/ iThenticate/Drillbit/others).
  • The acceptable similarity index must be below 15% (excluding references and properly cited quotations).
  • Manuscripts with similarity between 15%–25% will be returned for revision.
  • Manuscripts with similarity above 25% will be rejected.
  • Proper citation and referencing of all sources is mandatory.
  • Self-plagiarism (reuse of previously published work without citation) is strictly prohibited.

If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, the journal reserves the right to reject, retract, or take necessary action against the manuscript and the author(s).

2. AI Content Policy

The journal acknowledges the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as writing assistants and data processing systems. However, their use must be ethical, limited, and properly disclosed.

  • AI tools may be used only for language editing, grammar correction, or technical assistance.
  • Authors must ensure that the manuscript reflects original human intellectual contribution.
  • AI-generated content must not exceed 20% of the total manuscript.
  • AI tools must not be listed as authors.
  • Authors should disclose the use of AI tools where applicable.
  • Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the content.

The use of AI for generating fabricated data, fake references, or misleading information is strictly prohibited and will be treated as serious academic misconduct.

3. Policy Enforcement

  • Manuscripts violating plagiarism or AI policies will be rejected without review.
  • Published articles found in violation may be retracted.
  • Authors may be restricted from future submissions in serious cases.
