Wearable fitness trackers have been an increasingly popular tool in recent years, particularly among teens, for the purpose of encouraging healthy lives and physical exercise. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether or not the incorporation of wearable fitness trackers into physical education (PE) programs in schools is successful. The objective is to evaluate the influence that they have on the levels of activity, motivation, and involvement of students, as well as their general awareness of fitness. Through the use of previously conducted research and case studies, this study investigates the ways in which fitness trackers facilitate the process of establishing personalised objectives, monitoring progress, and providing feedback in real time. In addition, the research takes into account difficulties such as the accessibility of devices, the protection of data, and the readiness of teachers. Based on the findings, it appears that a successful implementation of wearable fitness trackers has the potential to increase students' engagement in physical education, support self-regulated learning, and promote healthy behaviours that are maintained over time. The success of these initiatives, however, is contingent upon their careful incorporation into the curriculum, the backing of teachers, and the consideration of equity concerns. Educators, politicians, and school administrators who are interested in modernising physical education and improving student health outcomes via the use of technology might benefit from the insights provided by this research.
